Coke Zero Sugar 400 Postponed To Sunday Morning

NASCAR

The NASCAR Cup Series’ Coke Zero Sugar 400 from Daytona International Speedway has been postponed to Sunday, Aug. 28, at 10 a.m. ET.

NASCAR announced the delay shortly after 8 p.m. ET on Saturday night, Aug. 27, due to rain conditions.

The race will be shown on CNBC.

The starting lineups will remain the same.

Sunday will be the first time the Cup cars have been on track over the course of the entire weekend.

The race marks the close of the 2022 regular season, with two spots in the playoffs up for grabs.

The postponement comes after Friday night’s (Aug. 26) NASCAR Xfinity Series race was also delayed due to weather, though it was eventually able to start and ended late that night.
