Sammy Smith was the class of the field in ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East qualifying Sunday, Aug. 28, winning his sixth pole of the 2022 season at the Milwaukee Mile.
The No. 18 secured the top position with a speed of 121.794 mph.
Joining Smith on the front row is Taylor Gray (121.098 mph), and Jesse Love will start third. Love was also the fastest in practice earlier in the afternoon.
Landon Pembelton and Daniel Dye round out the top five, while points leader Nick Sanchez starts eighth.
A record six women are in the field, led in qualifying by Toni Breidinger, who starts 10th.
