NASCAR Reveals 2023 Cup Series Schedule

The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series schedule is here.

While the 2023 season will feature a few changes — chiefly the previously announced event on the Chicago street course — the Cup schedule is by and large what the series contested in 2022.

In addition to Chicago’s addition, North Wilkesboro Speedway — as previously reported — will join the schedule as the All-Star Race venue on May 21.

The chief subtraction from the schedule is Road America, which loses its Cup date after two seasons.

Texas Motor Speedway, which loses the All-Star Race, has just one Cup date.

“As we prepare to celebrate our 75th anniversary season, we are committed to delivering a schedule that acknowledges the deep history and tradition of our sport while establishing a bold future that brings the best racing in the world to new markets and new fans,” Ben Kennedy, NASCAR svp of racing development and strategy, said in a release. “The 2023 schedules are a product of continued collaboration across our industry and partners. We are incredibly proud of what our sport will have to offer fans next season, and excited to celebrate this milestone season with the most diverse compilation of tracks in motorsports.”
