RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA – October 17, 2022 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – Dunlop is proud to be the official Progressive American Flat Track tire for all classes for over ten years now! Each year it seems like North America’s premier flat track racing series continues to become more and more thrilling. The 2022 American Flat Track Series was no exception with it ending with a double header at the Volusia Motorsports Park in Barberville, Florida. The 2022 American Flat Track SuperTwins Series all came down to the final round, winner takes all with four riders having a shot at the championship! In addition, spectators also witnessed a two-rider battle in the ultra-competitive Production Twins class.

At the two round season finale, the Mission SuperTwins presented by S&S Cycle championship was awarded to the defending champion, Jared Mees on his number 1 Indian Motorcycle/Progressive Insurance FTR750! Jared finished ahead of his title contenders Friday night and only needed to finish sixteenth or better to win the championship. Mees still pushed hard on Saturday night, even with a scary moment thrown in, to finish third in the main which was plenty to secure the championship by twenty-two points on his Dunlop DT4 tires.

Meanwhile in the Mission Production Twins presented by Vance & Hines, the championship went to the number 33 Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson XG750R of Jesse Janisch! Jesse won on Friday night to make it easier on Saturday to win his first AFT championship!

At the penultimate round in Wisconsin, The Parts Unlimited AFT Singles title was decided two races early. Red Bull KTM’s Kody Kopp followed in his father’s footsteps and was crowned as champion for the first time after turning pro last year!

In the hands-on Royal Enfield Build. Train. Race. all women’s Championship, rider Jaycee Jones was the rider to beat and won at the season finale to seal the championship, making it six wins in a row!
