AVONDALE, Ariz. — 35 races down, one to go.

Sunday afternoon, the NASCAR Cup Series will hit the track at Phoenix Raceway for the 2022 season finale, bringing this season to a close and crowning a champion.

Whittled down from the 16 original title contenders to the final four, defending Cup champion Chase Elliott will look to capture his second title in the past three years, with Joey Logano hoping to snag his second championship as well. Then come the Championship 4 rookies in Christopher Bell and Ross Chastain that will be gunning for the veterans to add their name to the record books on Sunday.
