Jes Ferreira Named 2022 Comcast Community Champion Of The Year

Comcast has announced Jes Ferreira as the recipient of the 2022 Comcast Community Champion of the Year.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ferreira wanted to find a way to give back. And despite putting on events every weekend following the NASCAR circuit as the senior director of live shows for CMS Production, she wanted to earn her foster parent license.

Ferreira earned her license and became a foster parent for one child. However, a few months later, that child’s younger sibling needed a foster home. Ferreira stepped in to foster the parent, believing the siblings should be together.
