Tyler Reddick Avoids Mayhem, Wins at COTA

#45: Tyler Reddick, 23XI Racing, Monster Energy Toyota Camry

Tyler Reddick avoided multiple NASCAR Cup Series overtime restarts to win on Sunday (March 26) at Circuit of the Americas.

It’s Reddick’s first win of the season and fourth career win.

Reddick led 41 laps, helping 23XI to its fifth win as a team.

“It means the world,” Reddick said post-race. “This whole 23XI team has been working so hard all winter long to make the road course program better. Was extremely motivated to come in here and prove that performance, too.

“Just so proud of this Monster Energy Toyota Camry TRD. Toyota, everybody, all the resources they’ve been putting into this to help turn around the road course program means a lot.”

Kyle Busch battled to finish second and Alex Bowman finished third.

Ross Chastain fought back from having issues on lap 59 to finish fourth and William Byron, who had the lead late in the race, fell back at the end to finish fifth.

Austin Cindric, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Chris Buescher, Ty Gibbs and Todd Gilliand rounded out the top 10.

The Cup Series is back in action a week from today (April 2) at Richmond Raceway. It can be viewed at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
