Racing and Event Registration for 2023 Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is Now Open

PICKERINGTON, OH – April 1, 2023 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – 2023 Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, which takes place July 21-23 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, is less than four months away, and race and event registration is now open to those ready to reserve their spots in the annual event’s many happenings.

Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is the preeminent — and longest-running — vintage motorcycle event in the country, with over 40,000 attendees each year enjoying off-road and road racing, bike shows, AMA Hall of Fame exhibits, camping, Lap for History, the country’s largest motorcycle swap meet and much more.

One of the pillars of what’s arguably the biggest and best weekend event in motorcycling is vintage racing, and racers who want get in on the heart-pounding action can do so by registering at https://vintagemotorcycledays.com/page/racing/.

The AMA Vintage Grand Championship, which runs in conjunction with Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, includes motocross, hare scrambles, road racing and trials, and class winners in each discipline are recognized as AMA national champions.

New this year is transponder scoring for motocross and hare scrambles.

Along with the action taking place at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the AMA Vintage Flat Track National Championship Series will host a round of its season Saturday, July 22, at the Ashland County Fairgrounds.

The AMA Vintage Grand Champion and AMA Vet/Senior Grand Champion — prestigious honors that are awarded to those who accumulate the most combined points from motocross, trials and hare scrambles — will also be crowned at the end of the weekend.

Youth riders are permitted to participate in the action, but they must meet the following requirements:

  • Trials: 4 years and up
  • Motocross and Hare Scrambles: 9 years and up
  • Flat Track: 12 years and up (Youth riders are not allowed to participate in the dirt-track brakeless class)
  • Road Race: 14 years and up

All racers must have general admission tickets prior to gate entry, and only pre-registered riders with entry confirmation will have access to Mid-Ohio on Thursday, July 20, at 9 a.m.
