This is the first of six sprint events on the 2023 F1 calendar. However further changes to this weekend’s format are expected as teams are in discussion over replacing the second practice session with a dedicated qualifying round for the Saturday sprint race.
The IndyCar series is also in action this weekend at Barber Motorsport Park, while the World Endurance Championship continues at Alabama. And Formula 2 head to Baku to support F1.
