Josh Williams Moving to Kaulig in Xfinity

#92: Josh Williams, DGM Racing, Call 811 / Alloy Employer Chevrolet Camaro

Josh Williams will drive the No. 11 for Kaulig Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024, Kaulig announced Nov. 16.

Alloy Employer Services will sponsor the effort.

“After only an hour in the shop, I already feel like it’s home,” Williams said in a team release. “I’ve known a lot of these guys for a long time, and I felt like coming over here would give us a good opportunity to get wins. That’s the goal, trophy hunting.”

“Josh Williams has fought tooth and nail for everything in his racing career, and we’re really excited to have him race for us,” Chris Rice, Kaulig president, added. “We love his energy and passion at the track, and we think his personality and drive will fit right in with the Kaulig Racing culture.”

Williams moves to Kaulig from DGM Racing, for whom he drove the No. 92 in 2023, scoring three top 10s.

In 186 series starts since 2016, Williams has 11 top 10s.

He’s the first driver to be named to Kaulig’s Xfinity program for 2024. In 2023, the team fielded three cars, the Nos. 10, 11 and 16, for Daniel Hemric, Chandler Smith and a rotating roster in the third car. Smith has departed to Joe Gibbs Racing for 2024, while Hemric was promoted to Kaulig’s NASCAR Cup Series program.

DGM has not announced a replacement for Williams. The team so far has Kyle Weatherman signed to its No. 91 full time.
