Go Racing In Style With This Incredible 4,000 HP Cadillac CTS-V

With the debut of the original Cadillac CTS-V, the Cadillac brand was determined to kick the stereotype of the brand being just for grandparents, and along with edgy styling, the brand’s V-series vehicles were marketed at performance enthusiasts of any age. In recent years, Caddy’s have made their way into the highest ranks of drag racing with cars like Dean Karns’ Stinky Pinky Cadillac and Jim Betz’ Madame X machine, and this particular 4,000-horsepower version of GM’s luxury sedan could be yours.

Steve and Mikhael Morris of Slidell, Louisiana, added this CTS-V coupe to their Cadillac stable of street cars and as progress has stalled on the build while they race their other vehicles, they decided to offer it up for sale on the TurboBullet Parts! Facebook page.

“We have six or so Cadillacs, and we are really into them,” Morris tells us. “This was the only category we didn’t have.”

HFR Fabrication built the chassis, which has been stuffed with a Noonan Race Engineering 480 cubic inch billet engine and boosted by twin Precision Turbo 88mm turbos. There are Billet Atomizer fuel injectors and a new FuelTech FT600 ECU ready to be tuned, and Morris had M&M Transmission update and rebuild the soft-lock up, Turbo 400 transmission.

The car is all carbon-fiber save for the rear quarter panels, and it can be set up to run big or small tires, with Santhuff’s shocks at all for corners.

The V coupe has been 6.27 at 227 mph through the 1/4-mile with a smaller engine combination, and Morris said it should be capable of 5.70s with the Noonan powerplant.

The Morris’ vehicles always look as good as they run and this CTS-V coupe is no exception. Drag-and-drive? Outlaw or no-prep racing? Get this coupe wired and plumbed and you’ll be ready to race in style.

The asking price, though? A cool $250,000.
