Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum

This is a must see if you are anywhere near Birmingham, Alabama. Its the largest motorcycle museum in the world (1800+ motorcycles, 200+ cars) and you could easily spend 5 hours there.

2 favorite things. 1st, it is a huge space with 5 floors, but everywhere you turn there is something to look at and they get really creative with some of the exhibits too. 2nd, almost nothing is blocked off or behind glass, they just trust you not to touch. That means you can get really up close and look at everything. Seeing the interiors of all the race cars was really cool.

I didn't get the chance to go out there, but there are two walkways that go right over the track. Theres a very pretty little park area on the interior of the circuit with ponds and a bunch of sculptures.
