Coming off a dominant season in the U.S. Hard Enduro Series, Hart entered the arena with great momentum behind him, although he admittedly struggled to get comfortable in the weeks leading up to the season opener. Once the gate dropped for the first moto, Hart was all business as he positioned his KTM 350 XCF-W up front early in the night. Finishing runner-up in the first and last motos, Hart bested multi-time EnduroCross Champion, Taddy Blazusiak, in the second race to score his first moto-win of the season at Round 1. His results earned him second overall on the night, positioning him for a favorable shot at a first-career title in the six-race series.

Trystan Hart: “The last two weeks have been extremely frustrating and it seems like nothing has gone to plan but we showed up here, started racing and everything worked out. I’m really happy to get second overall tonight after a really frustrating last couple of weeks. Now, let’s get the season going!”

Racing up front in all three motos, Gutzeit scored 4-5-5 results amongst the series’ elite riders and his consistency was enough to claim third overall on the night.
