Winter Throwdown Flat Track Race To Be Shown On MotoAmerica Live+

This will be the sixth annual Winter Throwdown event, which has grown to become the biggest Amateur Flat Track race in the world in terms of entries and attendance.

Aside from it being a major AMA event, the Mission Foods Winter Throwdown presented by Holeshot Powersports attracts some of the fastest professionally licensed riders from around the world.

The cost for the live-streaming service will be $9.99 per day or $19.99 for the entire three-day weekend of racing.

“I am absolutely over the moon to get this deal done,” said Cory Texter, CEO of Cory Texter Promotions. “I have had a lot of streaming services reach out over the years to make this happen, but nothing made sense prior to the phone calls I have had with Chuck Aksland, COO of MotoAmerica, and Larry Meyer, President of LDM Worldwide Corporation. I take a lot of pride in this event and our product. I wanted to do right for the fans and our partners, but mainly the riders. Giving our amateur flat track riders this kind of exposure is huge for the sport. It’s a huge gamble for me going in this direction, so I am hoping a lot of the fans from flat track and road racing will support this direction.”

The announcing team for the racing will consist of 2024 factory Harley-Davidson King Of The Bagger racer James Rispoli and Ian Riley, a longtime racer, promoter and owner of Fredericktown Yamaha. Pit side reporting duties will be performed by Jennifer Lewis, marketing manager at Royal Enfield.

The action-packed weekend will kick off on Thursday, January 11 with the second annual 1st Impressions Racing King of Throwdown 1v1 Bracket Challenge presented by Yamaha Racing. Top riders from around the globe will qualify to earn a spot on the 20-rider bracket. There will then be best out of three, single elimination, 1v1 races to determine the winner. Streaming will start at 5:30 p.m. EST.

The event will continue Friday, January 12 and Saturday, January 13 with the Mission Foods Winter Throwdown Flat…
