Brett Moffitt will pilot the TRICON Garage No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in multiple events during the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, the team announced April 23.
Moffitt will be back behind the wheel beginning at Kansas Speedway on May 4 and will carry sponsorship from Concrete Supply, Destiny Homes, JMT Trucking and Aspen Aire.
Additional race dates were not announced by the team.
“I’ve been eager to get back behind the wheel and I’ve been looking for the right team that can consistently compete for wins,” Moffitt said in a team release. “TRICON has shown a lot of speed this year and I’m looking forward to getting in the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro at Kansas Speedway in a couple of weeks. Thanks to Toyota, TRICON, Concrete Supply, Destiny Homes and all of our partners for giving me the opportunity to get back on track and chase trophies.”
In addition to the 2018 championship, Moffitt has 13 Truck victories to his credit, along with 40 top fives and 54 top 10s in 93 career starts.
He last competed in the series last year, winning at Talladega Superspeedway for Front Row Motorsports. Concurrently, he was full time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for AM Racing. He has not driven in a NASCAR race so far in 2024.
The No. 1 has competed in every Truck race so far this year, via drivers Toni Breidinger, Kris Wright, William Sawalich, Jack Hawksworth, Christopher Bell and Colby Howard. Brenden Queen will also drive the truck this year.
