Welcome to Talladega, Half Throttle & Full Commercials

Trey Lyle

On this episode of Happy Hour, hosts Trey Lyle, Caleb Barnes and Tom Bowels are joined by Speedway Digest Senior Staff Writer Kaleb Vestal.

The guys debate how much NASCAR and Speedway Motorsports should invest back into their tracks, whether it’s lights, scoring pylons or better internet.

All four guys share some thoughts on if Michael McDowell threw away his best chance at a win this year and if he is wasting what could be the best season of his career. Also, the guys try to solve the fuel-saving racing that gets interrupted by commercials.

At the end of the show, the quartet drafts their NASCAR basketball starting fives.
